Judge Mark Chow has served the Seattle and King County community as district court judge since 1990, ensuring equitable access to justice for all members of the community, fair and reasonable treatment, and a dedication to service that puts a face to the judicial system for new residents, young people, and those most in need. He continues the legacy of the Chow family commitment to community service in Seattle.
"The judicial system must provide stability and ensure access to justice for our communities. In my view, Judge Mark Chow meets the challenge of the judiciary to uphold the law fairly and openly. He deserves your vote." -Chief Justice Barbara Madsen
Mark's mother, Ruby Chow, was a pioneer in Seattle politics long before women of color would become part of elected government. From helping troubled youth, to assisting immigrants who lacked the ability to speak English, she was a tireless advocate on behalf of the disenfranchised. Mark continues this legacy with his work on the bench, providing access to justice for all Seattleites.
